Breaking The Silence

Hello beloved friends and followers! It's been a little quiet here at Lyric and Letter Studios for the past month, and I felt it was long overdue to "break the silence" and connect with you all again.

I want to start by reassuring you that I am still here, going strong in spirit, even if my body has been a little under weather (more on that later!). The truth is, I haven't written a new blog post simply because I have been incredibly blessed with an overwhelming amount of work across several projects that I am so passionate about. Life is beautifully full right now, and I’m so excited to share what’s been occupying my time, energy, and heart.

Releasing New Music and Moments of Rest

First, if you follow our YouTube channel, you may have noticed I've been really busy releasing new music lately! Music is such a vital way I connect with the Father, and sharing it with you all is a joy. This past month has been particularly fruitful.

I was able to share a remastered version of my original song, "The King is Coming Soon". It’s a powerful anthem of the view of the Coming King from the perspective of the wise version, and I love hearing how you like it.

I also released "The Easy Slow," a 3-hour acoustic ambient worship collection. It’s designed to be the perfect companion for your personal study, prayer time, or just for "chilling" with your favorite book and a cup of tea, allowing the peace of God to fill your space.

A huge part of my recent focus has been on cultivating moments of pause and reflection through our "Selah Moments" and the "Quiet Table" live streams. These are quiet study spaces I am so intentional about creating for our community.

The largest music project of this month was releasing my full album, "Quiet Surrender" . This 92-minute ambient worship journey was born directly from a deep inductive study of the Word. My prayer is that this album serves as a vehicle for biblical rest and contemplation for all who listen.

The Psalm 103 Project and Upcoming Podcast Series!

Now, for the big project that has been taking up the most "behind the scenes" energy: The Psalm 103 Project.

This project is so special to my heart, and it's a deeply spiritual and theological deep-dive. For those who aren't familiar, The Psalm 103 Project is an inductive, in-depth study focused entirely on Psalm 103—that beautiful, sweeping psalm of David that calls us to "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!"

The goal is to not just read the text, but to truly savor it, map it, and worship through it. I have been meticulously creating a Prayer Guide as a key component, designed to help you interact with the psalm on a deeply personal level, turning study into a powerful, intimate conversation with God.

Here’s the biggest announcement I have to share: I am currently in the thick of preparing an 8-session podcast series to go along with The Psalm 103 Project!

This podcast is designed to be a companion, a virtual "Quiet Table" discussion, where I'll be walking you through each session of the guide, sharing my own insights from Greek and Hebrew, bunny-trailing down some beautiful theological paths, and simply processing the profound truths of God's character revealed in Psalm 103. This is what has been consuming my thoughts and time, and I am so excited to eventually share it all with you!

A Slight Detour: Bronchitis

I'd be lying if I said this busy month was all smooth sailing. While my spirit has been energized, my body has had other plans! I’ve been fighting off a rather persistent case of bronchitis. It has definitely slowed me down a bit and has made things like recording music and podcast vocals a creative challenge! (You might notice how rough my voice has been here and there in the recent releases... but I decided to just keep them raw and real!)

But truly, in the midst of the physical weakness, I have been met with such a profound sense of God’s grace. It has forced me to practice what I preach: to find rest in His presence and to be content with doing what I can, when I can. The bronchitis has been a physical reminder to lean into that "quiet surrender" the new album is named after.

So, please forgive my temporary absence from the blog, but hopefully this update assures you that Lyric and Letter Studios is still very much active!

Thank you all for your patience, your encouragement, and your prayers—they mean the world to me. I can’t wait to show you everything that’s coming.

In the meantime, may you find your own moment to #RestInChrist and simply bless the LORD today.

In Christ Alone,

Rebecca
