In this space, you'll find a carefully curated selection of Bible study tools and verse mapping resources, thoughtfully chosen to enhance your scriptural exploration. We also highlight inspiring worship-focused websites and podcasts, each a companion in your journey of faith and reflection. These resources are here to support you, whether you're deepening your existing knowledge or embarking on new spiritual discoveries. So, take your time, explore, and let these tools enrich your experience as you grow in faith and understanding.

We have curated these tools to aid in your inductive study and personal worship. While we heartily recommend these resources, please note that they are external ministries not operated by Lyric and Letter Studios. As always, we encourage you to be like the Bereans (Acts 17:11), examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things are so.

Bible Study Resources

  • The Lyric and Letter Study Method: This is where it all begins. Before the verse mapping, before the word studies, before the commentaries — there is a way of reading Scripture slowly, carefully, and with your whole heart open. The Lyric and Letter Study Method is a seven-step inductive approach that grew out of years of communal study, a filmmaker's eye for narrative, and a hunger for the Word that needed more than surface reading. It walks you through observing the text, asking the right questions, going deep on the original languages, and finally — surrendering what the Spirit surfaces to the Lord. A full explanation of this study method is available for download.

  • Precept Ministries: Precept Ministries is a global, interdenominational Bible study ministry that exists to help people know God deeply by studying His Word for themselves, not just relying on others’ opinions. Founded in 1970 by Jack and Kay Arthur, Precept has spent more than fifty years developing inductive Bible study resources and training group leaders so that believers of all ages can observe, interpret, and apply Scripture in its context. Through in-depth studies like Precept Upon Precept, leader training, online and in-person groups, and translated resources used in many nations, Precept serves the broader body of Christ by equipping ordinary Christians to handle the Word accurately and be transformed as they live out its truth.

Designed to support serious students of the Word in growing deeper in truth, discernment, and devotion to Christ.

  • Theology Study Companion (Claude): A step-by-step guide to building a personalized Bible study companion inside Claude AI. Unlike a pre-built tool, this companion is shaped entirely by your theology, your study method, and your voice — so it learns to follow your lead into Scripture rather than directing you somewhere else. Built on Sola Scriptura, grounded in sound doctrine, and oriented toward Christ, this guide walks you through every layer of setup so your companion knows who you are, how you study, and where you will not go theologically. No technical background needed.
